Campaign Points of Unity

This website and the materials herein are produced by a group of queer activists who are also organizing IRL actions as part of a sustained campaign in support of trans youth. We invite you to become a part of this campaign! The following Points of Unity summarize the guiding principles of the movement we're building together.

• We stand for the liberation of all oppressed and marginalized people.

• We recognize that the fascist Trump regime, like fascist projects of the past, is methodically scapegoating and dehumanizing specific social groups--including trans people and immigrants--creating the conditions for our extermination.

• We recognize an obligation to stand in active solidarity with all those targeted by the regime and its supporters.

• We recognize that some people and communities are subject to overlapping forms of oppression.

• We recognize that, in a capitalist economic system, poverty is both an outcome and a mechanism of oppression.

• We affirm that all people have the intrinsic right to live authentically, free from fear.

• We affirm that none of us can achieve liberation through compromise with authority or assimilation into an unjust society.

• We will not compromise. We will not assimilate. We will not leave each other behind.
